Long overdue pictures...

These start out on the 4th of July, then some from camping in the mountains, and then a couple of him around the house... Some of them aren't right side up b/c I'm using Josh's laptop and can't figure out how to edit them!

Dancing :)

Kyson has learned how to dance and head bob to music! He is so funny! When my phone goes off, or a commercial with music comes on, or a toy that has sounds plays he just starts smiling and dancing. His favorite song to date is "Your Love is My Drug" by Ke$ha, lol. We played it on You Tube, and then tried playing a Justin Beiber song and he cried like his little heart was broken! Josh and I were laughing so hard we were nearly crying!

He is on full formula now at 10 months... which is a good thing and a bad! I hate not having that bond with him, and not knowing that he is getting the absolute best nutrition possible, BUT it's been a great break for me. Someone else can deal with feedings for once (aka Joshua, and he actually likes getting to feed him). He is in the process of cutting his fourth tooth, and when he smiles they all show and makes for great pictures... speaking of, I'm not taking nearly as many as I used to b/c I get so caught up in just enjoying him :) I'm trying to get back in the swing of things though... can't wait for this pregnancy nausea to be gone!

I can't wait to go shopping for his Fall/Winter wardrobe :) And believe it or not, he already needs ANOTHER hair cut! He's gonna have to get two before his first birthday! Which is in less than two months :( My precious baby is definitely growing up!

Both he and I have colds right now, but it really hasn't been too bad. Tylenol had been our friends, as well as lots of rest... thank goodness.

I had an OB visit this week, and got a surprise ultrasound :) Poor Joshua was sitting in the car with Kyson so we didn't have to bring him in to the doctor's office while he was sick. It went wonderfully! He/she was wiggling around, waving it's arms, and kicking it's legs... I loved getting to see that.

Pictures to come soon!!

ugh and blah

:(  While I don't have textbook morning sickness... ugh. I am nauseous all day long, ALL DAY! And tired? blah blah blah blah. Exhausted is closer to the term needed, but still can't quite capture the need to take 3 naps a day.

With that being said, I do come out of my misery fog for most of the day. While trying to ignore the constant churning in my stomach, I get to enjoy my wonderfully funny baby boy :) He shakes his head and smiles and laughs and it just lights up my day! He's so cute, I just can't get over it. I've been saying that for the whole 9 months of his life, and will probably never stop, lol. He'll be my 30 year old cutie pie :)

He gets an immunization every month for the next 3 months... poor baby! BUT that means he will be pretty much DONE with them for a while. He won't get any this Winter when Flu season is at it's peak, which makes me VERY very happy. Especially when I think back to when Ky was 2 months old and got super super sick :( It was such a scary time for me. It was just after he got his first set of vaccines (well, only one shot (Pentacel) but it was 5 actual vaccinations, which I wasn't thrilled about, but when ahead with it any way). He was so incredibly congested and snotty, and had a horrific cough... my main goal this winter is for that NOT to happen again.

SO, sleeping arrangements might have to change sometime in the next couple of months to accommodate my growing belly, but for now, I'm loving it. Kyson sleeps in the the bed with Josh and I and only nurses about twice a night. Which is heavenly compared to the 6-8 times a night before when we were trying to get him to sleep in his own bed! Plus I don't have to wake up completely, walk through a dark house, pick up an awake, crying baby, try to find a comfy nursing position in the glider in his room (which is very hard to do), nurse, and then rock him back to sleep. Even though I was usually only about 15 minutes, it was quite miserable compared to our routine now :) I'm so glad I listen to my instincts sooner or later, or we might still be having miserable nights, and for months to come!!

Josh just left for work, the house is semi-clean (according to my pregnant gauge, which is WAY lower than my non-pregnant gauge), and Kyson is trying to drag a load of clean diapers onto the floor. We all napped through a thunder storm this morning, woke up hungry, and Josh picked up some yummy Cracker Barrel. Rainy, relaxed mornings, when we're all together, are the absolute best!

I can't wait for this Fall! College football, pumpkins, apples and cinnamon, Ky's first bday, finding out the sex of the baby (which we're not telling anyone else), wonderful temperatures, and of course wonderful fashion (even though once again I will have a huge belly!).

yes, it's a real post!

It's been almost a month since my last good post, and a LOT has happened!

Ky is now crawling EVERYWHERE! He can say "bite bite", "mama", "dada", "nana", shakes his head NO, won't eat baby food (thanks to his nana), is taking formula in a bottle (gasp!) during the day, pulls up on everything, sleeps in our bed all night, and has become quite the stinker (and I love him more for it :))

Some other BIG news is that we are expecting another little one sometime in March of 2011! NOT at all planned... but we're already getting excited about him/her (hoping for a HIM). If the baby is born close to my estimated due date, Ky and he/she will be around 16 months apart... two in cloth diapers, how can that not be fun?!?!

I'm nauseous pretty much all day long, although I haven't puked yet (knock on wood), and I am INCREDIBLY incredibly tired... poor Josh has been picking up the slack around here, plus working full time... have I ever mentioned I have the best husband in the world?

He has still not found a new job, although he has applied and goes in for testing on one at the end of the month. We are cautiously searching for a new home, although I'm sure we can make do where we are at now if we have to.

Hopefully I will get back into my routine of daily posting ASAP!!
